Welcome to deAction Beach Shop, Silver Sands - the hub of Barbados windsurfing, surfing kitesurfing and stand-up paddling (SUP) action. We cater to watersport people looking for action or just wishing to relax with their families and enjoy a little island atmosphere.
The deAction Beach Shop's lower deck provides all the rental facilities and a relaxing atmosphere; while upstairs there is a cozy chill-out area where you can get a bite to eat with a spectacular view of deAction Beach.
deAction beach Shop in Silver Sands is owned and operated by living legend Brian Talma. Brian is the ultimate waterman, and after competing for over 15 years on the professional windsurfing tour and traveling the world kiting, surfing and SUPing, he has chosen deAction Beach, Silver Sands as the location for his watersport school.
Brian says, "I believe Barbados has one of the best beach cultures in the world, with a combination of great windsurfing, surfing, kitesurfing, stand-up paddling, festive nightlife, music and the dynamic interaction of visitors and locals! deAction Beach shop's objective is to cater to water people's needs and give them the Bajan Beach Culture experience."

Kiteboarding:-
This location is by far the best location on Barbados to teach kiteboarding. The conditions are also ideal for experienced kiters as well, with waves off the outer reef and flat water in the inner lagoon for tricks.
We provide lessons with a professional team of instructors led by Tony 'corn' Lorde. We offer the starters package of six hours which normally is divided up into 2 to 3 sessions; this course takes you from flying the stunt kite through getting body dragged with a big kite to getting up onto the board. All equipment is included.
Equipment for rental: the latest twin tips boards, directional boards and kites by Naish. Most used size kite - 12 meter.

Windsurfing:-
deAction Beach is the best spot for windsurfers wishing to venture into waves or experts that desire some wave action. If you are not comfortable with waves you can stay in the lagoon area. Beginners can expect professional tuition. All equipment provided.
Equipment for rental: a range the Hot Maui sails.

Stand Up Paddling (SUP):-
deAction Beach has a wide variety of nearby conditions as an entry point to explore the inner breaks and outer reefs. After a 5 minute introduction to SUPing, you will be out into the water. We also provide down the coast runs.

Surfing:-
deAction beach has a small reef break, ideal for surfing and learning to surf. We provide lesson that which guarantee within an hour lesson you will be standing up.
Equipment rental boards: A range of Naish boards from 6'0" - 9'4"
